Hi there, my name is Michael and on my shoulders is my son Caden. I grew up in a middle class family in the Midwest the youngest of three children.  I was always taught growing up that to be successful you need to go to college so that you can secure a good job making a good income that will allow you to be a good provider. Well, I went to college and got married and had a little boy and even got a "good job" that has allowed me to be a" good provider." But you know what? I have worked this "good job" for just long enough to know that I would be much happier and fulfilled as a person answering to myself. Now don't get me wrong, there are those who are happy working for someone else and that's perfectly well and good, however, it's just not me.  I'm an entrepreneur at heart and Corporate politics don't excite me. And I suspect that my situation and experience isn't all that different from yours. In fact, I bet there are many out there who feel just like I do, good people who desperately want to do their own thing, but who don't know quite how to get started, or where to turn for guidance and direction.
